Over the past decade Doulas High school has dominated class 4A in the state of Oklahoma and it appears Douglas Trogans will be the favorite going into this year. Douglas consistently has more superior athletes who buys into the team concept well. Their ability to demonstrate synergy is apparent in their play. However Kingfisher returns some season veterans and has a good looking freshman in Bijon Cortez who will add significant contribution. Ft Gibson always well coached and disciple will look to senior guard Carson Calavan for his leadership to win the Gold ball this upcoming season. Victory Christian is always in the conversation, but cannot same to get over the hump to win the prestigious gold ball. The Conquerors will be in contention again and led by RJ Wakely and Calhoun. One of my sleeper teams in the class is Heritage Hall, they have a special freshman in Tre Alexander on campus down there and he will make some noise. Tulsa McLain and tough minded coach Cordel Love always finds a way for his team to be in the conversation. Senior Kameron Brice will use the momentum from the summer to help him steer the Scots to a gold ball. In addition to the highly season point guard Jon Matthews, with his sound leadership and ability to score in bunches. Tulsa Webster is another sleeper in the class, senior David Ward will have some assistance this year from Freshman Anthony Pritchard. Pritchard is also special in his ability to make shots and can really shoot the ball from behind the Arc.
